Tasting notes

Fruit of the restlessness and irreverence of Anna Jorgensen and Dirk Niepoort. A 100% Loureiro wine that reveals the saline personality of the Alentejo coast.

Manual harvest is followed by pressing the whole bunches from our vineyards on the fresh sands of the Atlantic.

This wine was fermented spontaneously with indigenous yeasts, partly in used 500-liter French oak barrels and another part in stainless steel tank with slight maceration. Aged for 12 months, followed by a second aging on fine lees for 6 months before bottling with light filtration.
